2006
SPS helped Polsinelli PC, a premier Kansas City firm, acquire Nashar & Shea LLC, a Chicago-based corporate, finance, and real-estate firm. Polsinelli became the only Kansas City firm with a Chicago office.
2007
SPS assisted with the merger of Thompson Coburn LLP, a leading St. Louis based firm, with Fagel & Haber LLC, a Chicago-based full-service firm, to create one of the Midwest’s leading law firms.
2008
SPS facilitated the merger of Husch Blackwell Sanders with Welsh & Katz, creating a strong, full-service national firm, with superior depth and breadth in intellectual property law.
2014
SPS opened the Chicago office of Akerman LLP with 7 partners from another law firm.
Today the firm has 50 partners in Chicago.
2015
SPS launched the Chicago office of Hahn Loeser & Parks around a world-class IP litigation group.
2018
SPS helped open the Chicago office of White & Case around through the acquisition of a high-end private equity practice.
2021
SPS helped open the Chicago office of Cooley, LLP around the acquisition of a high end transactional and technology practice from another large international law firm.
